Tenants

How do I get my deposit back?

Langford Estates use the Deposit Protection Scheme custodial scheme. When your tenancy deposit is lodged with the DPS you are sent an ID number. You can use this number to claim your deposit back from them.

Is condensation my responsibility?
Yes, rooms need to be well ventilated, no drying of clothes on the radiators, using the extractor fan in bathrooms with no windows. Langford Estates will also send tenants a checklist at the beginning of the winter. We try to ensure the best property management to maintain the condition of your property throughout the tenancy.

How do I report a maintenance issue?
Langford Estates tenants are sent a link once they have moved in which will allow them to set up your username and password. You will then be able to access our system. Property maintenance is an essential part of the full management service offered by Langford Estates.

How often are Property Visits done?

Langford Estates aim to visit our fully management properties every three months. Our visits are to ensure that the correct people are living at the property and they are not engaging in any illegal activity. By keeping in contact with tenants and properties, Langford Estates aims to offer the best property management.

How many month’s notice do we have to give if we wish to vacate the property?

You need to give a month’s notice from the last day before your rent is due.
