Where is my deposit?
Your deposit will be held by the Deposit Protection Service in their custodial scheme. You can check your deposit by going to www.depositprotection.com.
How do I end my tenancy?
We can accept your notice by email to email@example.com by letter to our office at 138 Colman Road, Norwich. Your notice period is one month from your rent day. If you have any queries about the exact date, send us an email and we will confirm it.
How do I get my deposit back?
Once we have agreed the final date of your tenancy we can then book a check out inspection. The inspection will be after the final date of your tenancy and we will expect the property to be empty of all your possessions and cleaned. The keys can either left securely at the property or returned to our office at 138 Colman Road.
Once the final inspection has been completed, we will contact you and the landlord regarding any deductions we consider necessary. The final decision for deductions from the deposit rests with the landlord of the property. If you are unhappy with the deductions, we have requested let us know and we can negotiate with the landlord.
If there are no deductions or we agree on the amount to be deducted?
You can go to www.depositprotection.comand request the funds to be repaid.
If we can’t agree on the balance to be deducted?
The Deposit Protection Service provide a free arbitration service to resolve disputes. We will submit evidence to support the landlord’s claim. You can then provide your evidence. The DPS will then arbitrate and provide a decision. The decision is legally binding on both the landlord and tenant.

Viewings available outside these times by arrangement.
Visitors are always welcome during office hours. We may even pop the kettle on.
At odd times we have to close the office without warning so please call ahead to ensure we are in.
